Our founder and late senior partner Stanley Person, CPA (1934-2003), was a nationally known professional and businessman who wrote for and edited professional journals. Person also lectured and presented numerous seminars.

Steven Mutino, CPA, graduated with a B.B.A in Accounting from Iona College and obtained his M.S. in Taxation from Pace University. A licensed CPA in New York, Connecticut and Colorado, Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and has served on various tax committees sponsored by the New York State Society of CPAs. He specializes in individual, corporate and estate taxation, tax planning, forensic accounting and other tax and accounting issues regarding closely held businesses and their owners.

Sally Chan, CPA, CFP^®, joined Person & Company in 2000. Her experience includes an extensive background in accounting, taxation and financing planning for individuals and small size corporations. Sally graduated from Brooklyn College with a B.S. in Accounting, earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from New York University and is currently working towards her M.S. degree in Taxation at Pace University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., Financial Planning Association, and the Association for Certified Fraud Examiners.

Stephen V. Sakatos, CPA, MBA, Associate, Graduated with BBA from Bernard M. Baruch College of CUNY and a MBA in Finance (minor in Computer Applications and Information Systems) from New York University, Graduate school of Business Administration. He practices public accounting with extensive experience the maritime, hospitality, not-for profit and construction industries. Prior to public accounting Mr. Sakatos served in various positions in the financial areas of multinationals such as International Nickel Co., Coca-Cola, Wometco Enterprises, Ebasco Services and Oceania Maritime Agency, Inc.
